AOD Caseworker

About the role
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality MH services to clients needing guidance through their AOD rehabilitation journey. Working as a caseworker in this residential setting, you will provide services to both clients and their whanau, manage a caseload end-to-end, conduct assessments, develop plans, manage reports and documentation, run 1:1’s, and provide group facilitation and education.

This is a permanent full-time, 40-hour-a-week role based in Central Auckland.

Key Duties

• Assess and manage a caseload of AOD clients
• Manage and identify risks your clients may present
• Work with clients within certain frameworks, to develop goals
• Work towards a pre-discussed goal with adequate treatment planning
• Run 1:1 sessions and provide group facilitation for clients and whanau when required

Requirements

• Full registration with the New Zealand Social Workers Board or DAPAANZ
• Current Annual Practicing Certificate (with either NZWB or DAPAANZ)
• Demonstrate an understanding of AOD & Addiction
• Demonstrate caseload management
