About the Role
St Augustine's Associate Nurse Unit Manger provides leadership in a unique clinical environment. There isn't a single speciality and the Associate Nurse Unit Manger is expected to have a variety of clinical experience in medical and surgical nursing to deliver and support others in care provision.
- Provide leadership, as a role model and coordinate the allocation of resources on the shift
- Deliver and coordinate care provision during the shift
- Work with Correctional Hub and patient flow to coordinate admission and discharges
- This role is a shift-based role, there may be a requirement for night duty
- Coordinate and manage the shift to ensure high provision of high-quality care
Classifications for this position will range between YW11 - YW12 ($106,834.00 - $110,432.10 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution - Current AHPRA Registration as Registered Nurse
- Degree in General Nursing
- Post graduate certificate in Corrections Nursing, (not essential but highly regarded)
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain

St Augustine's is a unique and specialised correctional nursing ward located within St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. Gazetted as a prison, it comprises of eight beds and provides tertiary-level care to male and female persons in custody from across Victoria.
