Exciting, opportunity for a Bookings Clerk to join us in our Elizabeth Vale clinic, on a part-time, permanent basis, allowing you the flexibility to work around your schedule. If you are committed to providing quality administrative support and want to work in a meaningful role, then please apply to join our team.

More specifically, you will:

  • Ensure a high level of patient service is provided including meeting patient needs, maintaining
    patient service levels and monitoring and reacting to patient feedback.
  • Customer Service for both face to face and telephone contact;
  • Be part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve patient services of the highest quality;
  • Respond to and resolve issues and provide a prompt service in line with expectations;
  • Work with colleagues and other administrative staff to achieve efficient and effective
    management of the patient journey throughout the Practice.
  • Book and confirm patients for Planning CT, Treatment, Nursing Review,
    Procedures and Consultations;
  • Sound knowledge of all Oncology booking and treatment procedures;
  • Promotion of an efficient, compassionate service to all patients, while maintaining a
    good working relationship with all staff members
  • Liaise with both internal and external support staff i.e. Imaging departments CNCs
  • Accurate and timely data entry into medical record system Mosaiq
  • Maintain appointment diaries and taking initiative to ensure sessions are fully
    booked

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Demonstrated ability in an administrative role within a busy, customer focussed
    environment, medical preferred.
  • Handle and resolve urgent matters and time critical medical appointments
  • Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both
    internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience to work effectively both independently and in a team
    environment.
  • Ability to use clinical administration systems, as well as Microsoft Office software
  • Collaborative approach in working with the wider Administration team and other
    internal customers, in line with the organisations values.
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Diploma of Medical Administration or equivalent experience
