About the role:
We’re currently seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant (Breast Care Nurse) to join our compassionate and supportive clinical team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba. Based within our hospital and working alongside our Specialist Doctors, our Surgical and Oncology Ward, and Breast Care Support Organisations, you will be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary group of dedicated health care professionals who are committed to providing comprehensive care for women navigating the complexities of breast care and breast health.
You’ll provide your expert clinical support, education, care coordination, and advocacy for our patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring they receive comprehensive and holistic care in a supportive environment.

About our hospital:
St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) is an acute-care medical, surgical and maternity hospital that has serviced Toowoomba, the Darling Downs and the surrounding rural communities for over 100 years. As the largest private hospital in the area with 197 licensed beds, SVPHT features premier, modern patient accommodation predominantly in single rooms.
Things that work for us:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Clinical expertise in the speciality area with at least ideally 2 years’ experience in the delivery of Haematology, Oncology and Chemotherapy services
- Advanced clinical care consistent with the mission and philosophy of our hospital
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team
- Ability to work on a permanent part-time basis (30 hours per week)
