Cancer Nurse Consultant - Oncology

We’re looking for an experienced Cancer Nurse Consultant to join our friendly, patient-focused team in the Peninsula region.

In this pivotal role, you’ll provide expert clinical care, education and leadership to ensure every patient receives personalised, coordinated cancer treatment. You’ll collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and play a key part in improving the cancer care journey for our patients and their families.

More specifically, you will:

• Coordinate and deliver evidence-based care for oncology patients.
• Act as the key contact for patients, carers and healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Provide clinical expertise, advice and education to patients and staff.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to service planning, quality improvement and research.
• Build strong relationships with referrers, hospital teams and external stakeholders.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Minimum 5 years’ oncology nursing experience.
• Postgraduate qualification (or working towards) in Oncology Nursing, Advanced Nursing or a related field.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
