An established regional referral hospital is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Career Medical Officers (CMOs) and Senior Medical Officers (SMOs) to join its Emergency Medicine and Anaesthesia teams.

About You
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:
  • Hold, or be eligible to obtain, General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia, with at least three years of postgraduate medical experience and appropriate clinical training.
  • Appropriate Emergency Medicine training and experience, with the capacity to progress towards a leadership role within the Emergency Department. This will include taking responsibility for night shifts, with direct support from Consultant FACEMs available on other shifts.
  • High-level clinical skills and demonstrated involvement in patient care, supervision, mentoring and teaching, together with the ability to exercise a moderate degree of professional independence.
  • A demonstrated commitment to improving clinical care, patient safety and risk-management processes, including the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to implement positive change.
