About the Role
You will deliver efficient and responsive cleaning and waste removal services at our Fitzroy campus. Areas include offices, internal and external areas, common and clinical areas.

• Waste Removal: general waste, clinical and sharps waste, recyclables and confidential waste as per waste management policies.
• Restocking of bins and sharps containers as necessary.
• Floor Maintenance: sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, buffing and steam cleaning floors.Detail dusting/damp wiping: all low & high reach areas including fixtures fittings, equipment, vents and walls and sinks.
• Bathrooms: including toilets, hand basins, shower rooms/baths and facilities.
• General Tidiness: maintain general tidiness of public and all service areas.

The classification for this position will be IN18 - IN19 ($47,985 - $53,508 per annum pro rata)


Your Contribution

• Experience in cleaning (preferably in a health care environment)
• Experience in floor care maintenance, including steam cleaning, polishing and buffing (desirable)
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Able to work under minimal supervision
• A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
