About the Role
- This is a permanent part-time Clinical Coach (Peri-operative — Scrub/Scout, 0.8 FTE) role at based at St Vincent's Private Hospital Fitzroy
What you'll be doing
- Inspire and support a diverse mix of learners, from enrolled and registered nurse graduates through to postgraduate students
- Lead competency assessments and keep our standards sharp
- Spot learning gaps and build creative solutions
- Design and run targeted in-service sessions to meet the needs of peri-operative nursing
- Champion a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What we're looking for
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years' specialised peri-operative (scrub/scout) experience
- A track record of supporting diverse nursing learners (enrolled & registered nurses)
- A genuine love of education, mentoring, and innovation
- Flexibility to travel across sites (if needed)
- Desirable: Post-graduate qualification in Peri-operative Nursing, Education, and/or Cert IV in Training & Assessment — or working towards it
