The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Clinical Director of Medicine to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership to the Department of Medicine.

About you:
Youll lead a dedicated team of medical specialists and registrars, oversee clinical governance, and play a key role in service development, education, and continuous improvement across the Health Service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Department of Medicine
• Foster excellence in clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement
• Supervise and mentor senior and junior medical staff
• Drive innovation and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
• Represent the Department in strategic planning and hospital-wide initiatives

Remuneration & Benefits

• Total package: up to $562,124 p.a., including:
• Professional Development Allowance ($21,500 p.a.)
• Professional Development Leave (3.6 weeks p.a.)
• 12.75% Superannuation
• 17.5% Leave Loading
• Motor Vehicle Allowance
• Attraction & Retention Incentive Allowance (Private Practice arrangements available)

About You

• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent
• Registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Board of Australia
• Proven leadership and governance experience in a complex healthcare environment
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and innovation
