The Opportunity
Were looking for an experienced Clinical Lead Anaesthetics to join the Department of Health in Tasmanias. Youll work closely with the Clinical Director Surgical and Perioperative to guide strategic direction, support service integration across hospitals and help deliver high-quality, patient-centred anaesthetic care.
Youll also provide specialist anaesthesia services, including on-call.
This role suits a clinician who enjoys leadership, values collaboration and is motivated to improve healthcare systems as well as patient outcomes.

Teaching & Development
The DoH has a comprehensive training program with close links to the University of Tasmanias Rural Clinical School.
As Clinical Lead, you will contribute to:

Salary & Benefits = Salary package up to $550k
12% superannuation, depending on experience.
Additional benefits may include:

Details of Appointment
  • Fixed-term for 3 years
  • Day worker with on-call
  • 76 hours per fortnight (negotiable)
  • This recruitment process may be used to fill similar roles for 12 months
