Clinical Nurse Educator

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) position in our young adult mental health unit - USpace. If you are ready to take on the next challenge in education leadership and support, please apply.


This position is part-time (3 days per week).

The CNE is responsible for enhancing the skills and knowledge by providing education that is based on current best practices. This includes planning, coordinating, delivering, implementing, and evaluating clinical education needs, both at unit level, as well as assisting with other educational requirements across the organisation.


Skills Required:

• A values driven orientation consistent with the philosophy, mission and values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency
• Recent extensive experience within mental health (desirable if experience includes young adults/adolescents)
• Hold relevant clinical and/or education post-graduate qualification/s
• Demonstrated knowledge of innovative educational strategies, tools, and approaches
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development

Remuneration:

St. Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney Nurses' EA. Clinical Nurse Educator $62.05 year 2 + salary packaging + superannuation, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
