Clinical Research Site Lead Northshore

GenesisCare has a great opportunity to join our team as Clinical Research Site Lead, located at the North Shore Health Hub in St Leonards.

As the Clinical Research Site Lead, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations at the sites. This includes developing and maintaining good working relationships with the doctors and practice staff and assisting the Research Operations Leads, Research Ethics and Governance Specialists, site research staff and practice staff overcome any logistical issues to ensure successful trial conduct.

You will work closely with the Clinical Research State Lead, Research Operations Manager and ensure that all research is conducted in accordance with GenesisCare SOP’s, good clinical practice guidelines and all applicable national and international laws and regulations.

On offer is 12-month maximum term contract, working Monday- Friday, flexible work arrangements – work from home.

More specifically you will;

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in regulatory, administrative and clinical frameworks and current clinical issues and practice as they pertain to research
• Ensure all research is conducted in accordance with GenesisCare SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines, study specific protocols and all applicable national and international laws and regulations
• In conjunction with the Clinical Research State Lead assist with the oversight of resource management and project allocation, recruitment and onboarding of new staff and implementation of new systems and processes.
• Mentor and develop site research staff: to achieve performance goals and develop training plans to facilitate professional growth.
• Foster a team culture that supports our strategy, strives for performance, and follows GenesisCare’s values.
• Have a thorough understanding of all trials being conducted at your site
• Provide back-up CRC support as required.
• Promotes GenesisCare Research by attending internal and external meetings
• Collaborate with other business units and staff within the company to support milestone achievement and manage study issues and obstacles.
• Support the Clinical Research Team Manager and Quality Team to identify and proactively manager quality risks and issues.
• Liaise with and facilitate collaboration between relevant hospital departments and third parties to ensure the provision of quality clinical services.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• An undergraduate degree deemed equivalent in Science, Nursing, Pharmacy or related disciplineA proven background in clinical research.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to initiate and drive change by motivating a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an effective, pro-active and co-operative manner.
• Strong computer literacy with knowledge of clinical trials software and MS Office suite
