The Opportunity
This permanent full-time appointment offers the opportunity to work within a comprehensive regional Obstetrics and Gynaecology service, providing specialist care across inpatient, outpatient and procedural settings.
The position is available for up to 76 hours per fortnight, with working arrangements open to negotiation.
You will join a supportive multidisciplinary team and contribute to clinical education, service development and improving healthcare outcomes across the region.

The Department
The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department provides comprehensive regional services supported by:
- Approximately 1,000 births annually
- Level 4 maternity and neonatal services
- Eight-bed Intensive Care Unit
- Experienced midwives and a highly regarded Midwifery Group Practice
- Antenatal and gynaecology outreach services
- University-affiliated undergraduate and postgraduate teaching opportunities
- Opportunities to influence service development and regional healthcare delivery
- Supportive multidisciplinary and specialist teams
- Typical after-hours roster of approximately 1:5 weekdays and weekends
- Total remuneration package up to $647,306
- Indicative package range approximately $465,112$647,306
- 12% superannuation
- 20% regional recruitment and retention allowance

About You
You will hold:
- Current AHPRA specialist registration or limited registration
- Fellowship of the relevant specialist college or equivalent qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
