We are currently recruiting for a Specialist/Consultant Cardiologist to join the team at a leading regional health service delivering care to a growing population of over 80,000.

The Role
You will contribute to a well-supported cardiology service, including:

• Inpatient cardiology consults
• Outpatient and outreach clinics
• Development of the Clinical Diagnostic Unit
• Performing and interpreting cardiac investigations

Key Requirements

• Specialist registration (or eligibility) with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
• Experience in:
  • Stress echocardiography
  • Transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE)
  • Transthoracic echo reporting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to teaching and supporting junior staff

Desirable:

• Pacemaker implantation experience
