An exceptional opportunity is now available for a Specialist in General Medicine to join a regional coastal QLD health service.

The Hospital
This is a Level 3 facility with 70 inpatient beds (expanding under the Destination 2030 strategy) and a newly constructed Emergency Department (2020).
The service provides:

• 24/7 Emergency Care
• General Medicine & Surgery
• Obstetrics & Maternity
• Paediatrics
• HDU & Coronary Care
• Palliative Care
• Medical Imaging & Pathology
• Hospital in the Home (HITH)

The Role
As Staff Specialist General Medicine, you will:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care
• Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call roster
• Support Exercise Stress Testing (Clinical Measurement Team)
• Contribute to Hospital in the Home (HITH)
• Provide clinical leadership and support junior medical staff
• Play an active role in service development and governance

This is a broad, rewarding physician role with autonomy, team support, and strategic input into future service expansion.

Remuneration & Benefits
Total remuneration package up to $557,878 p.a.
Includes:

• Base salary up to $274,678
• 12.75% Superannuation
• 17.5% Leave Loading

About You

• FRACP (General Medicine) or equivalent
• Specialist registration with AHPRA
• Commitment to CME
