We are seeking an experienced and motivated Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join the specialist team, delivering essential specialist services.

You will provide comprehensive specialist obstetric and gynaecological care to a diverse regional population while contributing to leadership, teaching, and service development.
Youll join a supportive multidisciplinary team, including:
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) Associate Training Programs (Procedural & Advanced Procedural) and hosts medical students through the Rural Clinical School.

$412,161 $523,436 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, Professional Development Leave allowance and 12% superannuation)

- Two Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists
- Three Registrars
- On-call support from four GP Obstetricians (GPOs)
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) Associate Training Programs (Procedural & Advanced Procedural) and hosts medical students through the Rural Clinical School.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care
- Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to junior medical staff
- Contribute to clinical governance, policy development, and quality improvement
- Participate in administrative leadership alongside the Clinical Nurse Specialist (Maternity)
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance regional service delivery
Consultant Year 19:
$412,161 $523,436 p.a. (inclusive of base salary, Professional Development Leave allowance and 12% superannuation)
Leave Entitlements
- 4 weeks annual leave (160 hours)
- +1 additional week for regular on-call participation
- Up to 3 weeks Professional Development Leave p.a.
- 13 weeks Long Service Leave after 10 years
- 5 weeks Overseas Professional Development Leave after 5 years
