Consultant / Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon
Regional VIC | 2 hours to Melbourne | Up to $420,000 +

The role
Deliver safe, efficient and patient-centred general orthopaedics at consultant level, including:
  • Outpatient clinics (schedule by agreement with the Clinical Director/CMO)
  • Theatre lists and peri-operative care
  • Consultative support to ED and inpatient teams
  • Collaboration with community health services
Casemix includes pre-/post-op care, upper & lower limb, major joints, hip & back problems, fractures and acute injuries (adult & paediatric).

About you
  • AHPRA Specialist Registration (Orthopaedic Surgery, FRACS) or RACS Substantially Comparable assessment (IMGs welcome)
  • Broad general orthopaedics skill set
  • Demonstrated teaching and research experience
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and service improvement
