About the role:
We’re currently seeking an experienced CSSD Educator to join our supportive team at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba on a permanent part basis (40 hours per fortnight). This is a great opportunity for a skilled educator to lead education, training and development within our Central Sterilising Services Department. You will be reporting to the CSSD Manager, providing an essential role to ensure that our CSSD department maintains the highest standards of exceptional care and patient safety.

About You
- Significant recent experience in CSSD / sterilising services is essential
- Certificate III in Sterilisation
- Demonstrated experience of RMD reprocessing, infection prevention and control, traceability and quality systems
- Ability to train, coach, assess competency and provide constructive feedback
- Sound documentation, communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to WHS, manual handling, PPE and safe work practices
- A positive work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to obtain
- Diploma of Sterilization Services or advanced reprocessing qualification is desirable along with your experience with AS 5369:2023 implementation, audits or quality improvement projects
- Experience with endoscope reprocessing, loan sets or complex surgical instrumentation
- Experience using electronic tracking systems and developing training resources
