Duration: 612 weeks + extensions- most ED RNs are able to extend their contracts - able to request leave dates as well.

Bonus $2,000 for 12 weeks of full time work minimum of 480 hours - can request leave dates in contract.

CC Medical to pay and flights reimbursed up to $1200 return for Darwin - (claim once every 6 months).
Up to $616 a week provided to put towards accommodation and expenses (Accommodation currently on average is $316-$400 a week - $200-$300 a week tax free for expenses)

We are seeking 3experienced Emergency Department Registered Nursesfor contracts at a Level 2 hospital in a remote Indigenous community in the Gulf region of North-West Queensland.
This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable remote nursing experience, work within a supportive team and make a meaningful contribution to a community of approximately 1,600 people.

The Facility

About You
You will be an experienced Emergency Department RN who is adaptable, clinically confident and comfortable working in a remote environment.
You will ideally have:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Recent Emergency Department experience
• Strong acute assessment and triage skills
• Current ALS and emergency nursing competencies
• Ability to work confidently and autonomously
• Rural, remote or Indigenous health experience highly regarded
• Flexibility and a collaborative approach
• Ability to meet Queensland Health and North West Hospital and Health Service compliance requirements
