About the role
As Deputy Director, you will play a central role in leading anaesthetic services and ensuring safe, high-quality care. You will provide expert clinical anaesthesia across a broad range of specialties, support daily departmental operations, and help drive service development and improvement.

About you
You are a collaborative leader and skilled Anaesthetist with a strong commitment to patient-centred care.

You bring:

• FANZCA or equivalent
• Specialist registration with AHPRA
• Experience in a tertiary or major hospital setting
• Proven leadership and resource management skills
• Strong teaching, supervision, and communication skills
• Willingness to work extended spans of ordinary hours to meet clinical demand
