Deputy Site Supervisor

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) to join our Warrnambool site as a Deputy Site Supervisor. Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will manage day-to-day operational services, maintain high-quality imaging services, and provide leadership and direction to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Imaging Service: Maintain a high-quality, efficient imaging service for patients and referrers.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster collaboration with Radiologists and staff.
  • Daily Operations: Manage daily operational tasks related to imaging services.
  • Liaison Role: Serve as a liaison between SJOG Hospital and Lake Imaging.
  • Growth and Development: Assist in the ongoing growth and development of the organization.
  • Staff Management: Manage staffing rosters and leave for technical staff when the Site Supervisor is not present.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience as a Medical Imaging Technologist, with team-leading experience.
  • Qualifications: Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent) recognized by ASMIRT.
  • Registrations: Holds AHPRA registration, professional indemnity insurance, and Victorian radiation licenses.
  • Professional Development: Regularly participates in further education and continued professional development.
  • Team Player: Ability to lead and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail.
  • Attitude: Passionate and "can-do" attitude towards work.
