About the company

Omega Medical has exclusively partnered with a Local Health District in Victoria looking for their next Director of Nursing to manage their Multi-Purpose Acute and Residential Aged Care Facility.

The Role

As a Director of Nursing, you will manage this Multi-Purpose Facility which comprises Acute and Residential Aged Care Beds. You will partner with the Chief Executive Officer in financial, people management and various managerial duties.

Your day-to-day duties involve staff management, liaising with residents and family. You will also be in the forefront of the Multi-Purpose Facility when it comes to compliance and audits.

You are a clinical individual with a AHPRA Registration.

This opportunity provides you with Relocation Assistance and Temporary Accommodation.

Summary of Duties

• Manage a skilled work force, delivery of financials and staff engagement
• Meet compliance objectives and safe and effective care
• Demonstrate excellent patient centre care
• Understanding of Scope of Practice in line with Government Legislation
• Work in a team environment and independently

Skills and Experience

• Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA (Mandatory)
• 3-5+ years' experience in aged care with demonstrated Leadership and Clinical experience
• Covid-19 Vaccination (Mandatory)
• Clear Police Check and Working with Children's Check
• Drivers Licence and Car
