About the Role
As a Disability Support Worker with Nursing Australia, you will provide high‑quality, person‑centred support to NDIS participants, empowering them to live independently and achieve their goals. Shifts may include in‑home support, community access, and daily living assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting clients with personal care, daily living tasks, and community participation
- Following individual care plans and promoting client choice and independence
- Building respectful, professional relationships with participants and their families
- Accurate documentation and reporting
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDIS Workscreen)
- Relevant experience as a Disability Support Worker (preferred)
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent (desirable)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Reliable transport and willingness to travel between client locations
- Strong communication skills and a caring, professional approach
