Nursing Australia is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker with experience in high care, Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and falls risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care
- Supporting with meal prep
- Assisting ith household chores
Shifts Available:
- Tuesdays: 6:00PPM-8:00PM
- Wednesdays: 6:00PPM-8:00PM
- Thursdays: 6:00PM-8:00PM
These shifts are ongoing with the potential for more shifts!
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
- Current National Criminal Record Check
- Certificate III or IV in Disability/ Individual support /Aged Care
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Manual Handling Certificate
- Valid Working With Children's Check
- Medication Assistance Certificate
- Minimum of 6 months full time experience working in Disability
- Demonstrated experience supporting clients with high care needs.
- Experience supporting clients living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
- Experience supporting clients with a high falls risk.
