Disability Support Worker

About this role:

Programmed Care are currently seeking Disability Support Workers to join our team to support our clients across the Mid-North Coast in areas such as Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour & Taree

We have a variety of shifts available with ongoing rosters developed in advance.

In this role you will implement a person-centred approach to support the daily care needs of your clients.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Following individualised care plans & task lists
• Personal care assistance
• Manual Handling
• Community Access
• Domestic Duties

Key criteria:

• Current Certificate III or IV Aged care, Individual Care, Disability or Community Care
• Minimum six months of recent experience in providing personal care assistance to clients in an aged care, disability or community setting
• Valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle and current car insurance
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• NDIS Workers Clearance (Or willing to obtain)
• Demonstrate a commitment to working your booked shifts & be open to accepting additional shifts when requested
• Be proactive, reliable, and passionate in providing care to your clients
