Disability Support Worker

We are actively seeking experienced In Home Disability Support Workers for our clients in Strathalbyn area to assist with personal care, social and domestic shifts.

Please Note: You must have comprehensive care insurance and willing to drive clients in your car

Key requirements:

• Experience working with clients in the community required
• Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Provide support and services to clients with the Person Centered Active Support model
• Encourage individuals living with a disability to be engaged in their own lives
• Assist clients with their personal health care and mobility needs
• Current Drivers Licence and Reliable Car
• Must be willing to drive clients and have comprehensive care insurance
• DCSI Screenings - Disability or Child related
• Current Police clearance
• First Aid and Manual Handling Certificate
