Kitchen Assistant – Storeman
Part Time – 32 hours per fortnight
We are seeking an experienced Production kitchen store assistant work in our production kitchen at St Vincent’s Private Hospital to maintain high levels of professional standards in servicing patients across St Vincent’s Darlinghurst Campus. St Vincent’s Private Hospital production kitchen is a cook fresh facility with a high quality food safety accredited meal service, producing more than 60,000 meals per month. This is a large team of approx. 40 staff in this busy kitchen.

About the Candidate:
- High level of commitment to the philosophy, mission, values and ethics of the Mary Aikenhead Ministries and SVHA.
- Current forklift license
- Good understanding about receiving goods, storage, temperature check etc
- Thorough understanding and ability to participate in Food Safety & WH&S programs.
- A high degree of personal hygiene and safe food practices
- Ability to follow a schedule and work efficiently, with the ability to take on and allocate additional work as required
- Experience working in a structured kitchen environment
- Ability to take direction and work alone
- Effective time management skills and capable of a high standard of unsupervised work
Other essential requirements include:
- Minimum 1 years Food Production stores.
- Sound understanding of Food Safety/HACCP and all policies contained within
