About the Role
You will provide a range of important services to Normanby Unit (our Aged Psychiatric Facility), including cleaning the living areas, kitchen and bedroom areas, and preparing appropriate food and drink for patients. All duties are carried out with a focus on the safety and welfare of the patients.

• Prepare and serve food and drinks
• Adhere to house weekly and daily periodical facility cleaning schedule
• Clean food service equipment and maintain a clean ward environment
  

Classification for this position will be GV90 ($58,3713 per annum pro rata).




Your Contribution

• Food Handling Certificate (HLTFSE001)
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with food handling and cleaning
• Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Understanding and compassion of aged care residents
• A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check, or willing to obtain

About Normanby Unit
Normanby Unit is a 20-bed Acute admission and assessment unit in Kew, caring for people with psychiatric illness over the age of 65 who are looked after by a skilled and compassionate multidisciplinary team.
