Client Description

This Hospital is a modern 80 bed facility, providing high quality health care and specialist services to North West Hospital and Health Service Queensland. Working amongst the multidisciplinary team which is young and dynamic. The team regularly plan weekend adventures including camping, rodeos, and local events like wine festivals, balls, markets, and sporting events. We even hold an Allied Health Ball every year to celebrate all Allied Health Clinicians in North West Queensland. We have a few gyms in town including a yoga studio, Anytime Fitness, pilates studio, a public pool and plenty of outdoor walking areas. There are cafes, a library, Kmart, Woolies and Coles, Harvey Norman, and a couple of specialty stores. The area is surrounded by cattle stations and you can even feed some camels just down the road from the Hospital! There’s a large freshwater lake 10km out of town where people regularly paddleboard, water ski, swim, and kayak to get their water fix, and there’s lots of water holes/water falls that can be visited after wet season to keep cool.
