About The Role

  • The purpose of the role of a Registered Nurse within Intensive Care, is to ensure the clinical care of patients is provided in a person-centred manner, within the philosophy, mission and values of St Vincent’s health Australia.
  • A Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all patient care delivered, is done so within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse and by adhering to policies and procedures of the Mater Hospital and St Vincent’s health Australia (SVHA). ​

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • ​Current AHPRA Registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within an Intensive Care Unit.
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in managing and responding to deteriorating patients.
  • Ability to clinically manage one’s self, and others when required, to create a transformational leadership environment.
