About the role:
We’re currently seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our supportive team. This is a great opportunity for a well organised and adaptable administration officer who thrives in a busy environment to support our patients, visitors and clinicians. In this position you will play a pivotal role to deliver exceptional customer service while providing effective and accurate administrative support in a busy private Emergency Centre.
About Us:
Brisbane Northside Emergency (BNE) is 24-hour, 7 day a week, fee-for-service emergency department based in Chermside, Brisbane. We are located adjacent to The Prince Charles Hospital and St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside. We have a full suite of facilities including radiology and can quickly engage specialists for emergency surgery.

Things that work for us:
- Ability to work on a permanent-part-time basis (16 hours per week) with flexibility to integrate into a 24-hour roster, day/evening/night shifts is essential
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Medical Receptionist, or similar role.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
- An understanding of medical terminology preferable
- The ability to professionally liaise with colleagues, patients, visitors, and medical professionals
- The ability to maintain a high level or of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Excellent telephone manner
- Attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively within a team environmen
