We currently have exciting opportunities across Darwin, Alice Springs and Tennant Creek, as well as new roles in NSW, including Forbes. Some NSW roles offer allowances of over $1,100 per month, with no receipts required, subject to eligibility.

MGP: Up to $150 per hour base + super.
Core Midwives: Up to $102.50 per hour PAYG or $118 per hour ABN. December and early January starts are available for approximately 612 weeks.

Were also seeking expressions of interest for November, December, January and February across antenatal, postnatal and Birth Suite. There may be an opportunity to choose your primary area.

Travel and accommodation

• Up to $1,200 return towards flights or petrol.
• Up to $316 per week towards accommodation.
• Up to $400 per week towards eligible out-of-pocket expenses.
• Total support of up to $716 per week, subject to eligibility.
• Offsite accommodation is available. There is also an onsite outdoor pool and access to a discounted gym membership.

TENNANT CREEK, NT | Midwife Clinical Specialist Remote Outreach
ASAP start | Full-time | Up to 3 months
Up to $120 per hour + super, or up to $138 per hour ABN + super.

This is a rare opportunity for a midwife interested in remote outreach and working across the Barkly Region. It would suit someone with previous MGP experience; a background in Aboriginal health would be an advantage.
One of our MGP midwives is currently working in Tennant Creek and loves it so much that she has extended her stay!

Whats included:

• Up to $300 per week towards eligible out-of-pocket expenses.
• Up to $2,000 towards flights or petrol.
• Accommodation provided, including private homes or onsite options.
• Fleet car provided; a full, clean drivers licence is required.
• Extensive travel to remote health clinics throughout the Barkly Region.

This travel role has less on-call and after-hours support than some other outreach positions.

ALICE SPRINGS, NT | Midwife Clinical Specialist Remote Outreach
19 November 2026 8 January 2027 | Full-time
Up to $120 per hour + super, or up to $138 per hour ABN + super.

Also seeking expressions of interest for January and February 2027: after-hours support roles at up to $102.50 per hour base or $118 per hour ABN.

Whats included:

• On-call allowance of up to $12.81 per hour.
• Overtime rates of time and a half or double time when called in, as applicable.
• Up to $300 per week towards eligible out-of-pocket expenses.
• Up to $1,000 towards flights or petrol.
• Accommodation provided, including private homes or onsite options.
• Fleet car provided; a full, clean drivers licence is required.

What youll need:

• Current knowledge of the National Immunisation Schedule and immunisation administration.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Experience working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
• Midwifery emergency care and neonatal resuscitation training updated within the past three years.
• Current Basic Life Support.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Central Region, including by small plane or car, and stay in remote locations for short periodsfor example, three nights.

Experience in remote health clinics and certified 4WD training are desirable, but 4WD certification is not mandatory.

CC Medical continues to offer our standard PAYG payroll. We can also discuss payment through Geoffrey Nathan, a specialist PAYG payroll provider.
Depending on your circumstances and eligibility, Living Away From Home Allowance arrangements may improve your take-home pay. Rates and tax outcomes vary, so we can provide further details for you to consider.
We also welcome midwives working under an ABN for eligible contracts.

Refer a midwife who is not already known to CC Medical, and receive a $500$840 referral bonus when they complete a contract of six weeks or more. Conditions apply.
