The team at GenesisCare Norwest have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Radiation Therapist to join the team.
As the Radiation Therapist you are responsible for delivers efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities of a high quality. This position is a clinical role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities.

More specifically you will:

• Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
• Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
• Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures. Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensures established patient care standards are maintained
• Is responsible for monitoring the condition of patients and responding to their needs
• Treats all patients and their carers with respect and equality.
• Liaises with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of the need for continuation of professional development for self and others are a key requirement for this role, and strongly align to Genesis Cares focus on continuous improvement and the provision of efficient, high quality care.
• Continually develops both personally and professionally to meet the changing needs of their career and the profession.
• Attend education and training sessions provided by the organisation and are actively involved in other education and development activities as required.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy
• Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment
• Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills
• Newly graduated or close to graduating!
• Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services
• Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy etc)
• Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA​
