THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the Nurse Unit Manager - Medical Oncology, holds a key leadership role within this hospital. You will hold responsibility for the total oversight and efficient management of all human and material resources. In addition your role will encompass strategic planning, evaluation of practices, processes and services, including the implementation of any necessary changes. You will also ensure alignment with best practice and all legislative requirements.
THE ESSENTIALS
- Registered Nurse (Div.1) with current AHPRA registration - free from notation
- Demonstrated management and decision-making skills with the ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and material resources
- Extensive clinical skill and experience within Oncology (qualified to administer Chemotherapy highly regarded)
- Full, unrestricted working right in Australia with recent on-shore experience. Sponsorship will not be considered
- Holding or working towards tertiary management or post graduate qualifications desirable
