Occupational Health Nurse

As the successful applicant will be working autonomously at client sites, experience working in New Zealand as a Registered Nurse is essential.

About the role
This is a diverse role where you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of industries supporting a range of great people in our local communities. You will be providing in depth assessments and clinical support across the community and in clinic. As this is a community role, there will be some travel within the Auckland region. Some key duties may include but not limited to:

• Workplace assessments
• Patient education
• Blood tests, Vaccinations, drug testing
• Audiology and spirometry
• Well health checks
• Pre-employment medicals

Skills & Experience

• Current Nursing registration and APC with the New Zealand Nursing Council
• Advantageous if coming from occupational health experience, primary care, community setting or from a similar setting with a genuine interest in workplace health and wellbeing
• Be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
• Full clean driver’s license
• Able to prioritise with strong time management and planning skills
