Occupational Health Nurse

About the role
Engage in a dynamic and diverse role within occupational health, offering the chance to collaborate with various industries and expand your professional expertise. Undertake a variety of assessments and clinical responsibilities, both in community settings and clinic environments. This position does service the wider Bay of Plenty area, so will need to be comfortable with some travel. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Workplace assessments
• Patient education
• Blood tests, Vaccinations, drug testing
• Audiology and spirometry
• Well health checks
• Pre-employment medicals

Skills & Experience

• Current Nursing registration and APC with the New Zealand Nursing Council
• Advantageous if coming from occupational health experience or from a similar setting with a genuine interest in workplace health and wellbeing, though open to levels of experience
• Be comfortable working independently
• Full clean New Zealand driver’s license
• Able to prioritise with strong time management and planning skills
