The opportunity
As the Senior OT, you’ll be more than a clinician — you’ll play a key role in establishing and growing the OT service.
You’ll have the autonomy to develop your own caseload, work within your areas of clinical interest and help shape how the service operates. As the division grows, there is the opportunity to provide clinical leadership and support future OT team members.
The role will involve:
Managing your own clinical caseload
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing evidence-informed intervention plans
Providing high-quality OT assessment and treatment
Working across paediatric and/or adult caseloads, depending on your experience and interests
Building strong relationships with clients, families, referrers and other professionals
Collaborating with the broader multidisciplinary team
Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation and reporting
Supporting the development and growth of the OT service
Providing clinical leadership as the team expands
About you
You’re an experienced OT who is confident working autonomously and ready to take ownership.
You’ll ideally bring:
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration
Strong clinical OT experience
Experience in private practice, NDIS and/or community settings
Confidence independently managing a caseload
Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-informed practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisation and time management
A genuine interest in building something and taking it to the next level
Paediatric experience is highly regarded, but the focus is on finding a Senior OT who can build an effective caseload around their clinical strengths.
This is your opportunity to make your mark.
If you’re looking for a Senior OT position where you can step away from simply managing a caseload and have a genuine say in building a service, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
