Occupational Therapist – Regional Victoria (Public Health – Hospital Setting)

The Role

Our client is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their hospital-based team in Regional VIC. In this role, you will manage a varied caseload within a public health setting, working across inpatient and/or community programs depending on experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing comprehensive functional assessments

• Delivering evidence-based interventions across acute and subacute settings

• Discharge planning and equipment prescription

• Conducting home assessments where required

• Supporting patients to maximise independence and safe community reintegration

• Collaborating within a multidisciplinary hospital team

• Managing documentation in line with public health requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy

• Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility)

• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

• Current driver’s licence (preferred)
