The role



As the Occupational Therapist, you will be working with other Allied Health professionals to support your mixed age range caseload ranging from Paediatric to Adult NDIS participants in the Port Pirie area. You will be tasked with providing professional and clinical care to all patients.

The duties and responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist will include, but not be limited to:

  • Collaborate with your patients who have been referred for Occupational Therapy
  • Assess, diagnose and treatments for clients
  • Develop and implement client plans and subsequent effective monitoring and reviews
  • Provide Occupational Therapy services to clients in a clinical and community setting
  • Liaise with other allied health professionals, clients’ carers and/or family and other medical professionals when appropriate
  • Facilitate therapeutic groups and workshops

About you

To be considered for the role, you will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role along with:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Full general registration with AHPRA
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Current police clearance
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS worker check
  • Current driving licence
  • Full Australian working rights
