Occupational Therapist – Canning Vale, WA



Talent Quarter are delighted to be supporting our long-standing client to find an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis.


As a provider for NDIS participants, this company provides therapy support to clients from the ages of 0-65 years and they help their clients to transform their lives through person-centred care and support.


The role



The successful Occupational Therapist will be joining an existing stable team of OT’s, Speech Pathologists and Exercise Physiologists to support your clients in the community to achieve their movement goals. You will be using a variety of integrated Occupational Therapy services to best serve the needs of your clients in the local community.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessments, including SIL Assessments, Sensory Assessments and AT Assessments
  • Planning, implementing and evaluating plans and treatment options for clients
  • Coordinating the updating and development of evidence-based resources
  • Home modification assessments, including complex modifications
  • Providing therapy to clients across a range of acute, outpatient and community settings
  • Undertake clinical prioritisation and triaging of referrals
  • Managing client caseload in line with other organisational priorities



About you


To be considered for the role, you will be a qualified Occupational Therapist who has at least 1 years’ experience as an OT.

In addition, you will also have:

  • Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Full general registration with AHPRA
  • WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • National Police Check
  • Excellent organisational skills
