Oncology Information System Pharmacist

GenesisCare Oncology now has the opportunity for a Grade 1 or 2 Oncology Information System Pharmacist to join our team to complete a broad range of activities. This role is based at our North Shore Health Hub, located in St Leonards, but you will also need to work across other clinic locations as required. On offer is a permanent full-time position.

More specifically, you will:

• MOSAIQ Care Plan Management
• National Medical Oncology Care Plan management
• Training and Education
• Assisting with Quality Assurance and Reporting
• Leave cover for clinical pharmacists.
• Creating and maintaining policies and procedures
• Ensuring treatment protocols, processes and workflows comply with governance requirements.
• Assist new sites with care plans build according to the GenesisCare national standards.
• Assist with data validation and check integrity of data if any data migration is required.
• Assist with data clean up post transition to national care plans.
• Assist and oversee other states with care plan review and maintenance process.
• Create education resources as required and assist in training of staff members as required.
• Provide support to clinical staff as required.
• Liaise with relevant staff around creation and maintenance of reporting tools.
• Work with relevant staff members to set up off protocol care plan use reporting system.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

• General registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia with no restrictions.
• Commitment to patient-focussed pharmacy practice.
• Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
• Competent with using electronic medical information systems.
• An ability to interact effectively with people from diverse culture.
• The ability to work independently on and off site.

Desirable:

• Clinical pharmacy experience in an oncology/haematology outpatient.
• Prior knowledge of configuration of MOSAIQ is highly desirable.
