About the Role
The Orthopaedic Administrative Assistant will work closely to support the Orthopaedic Unit with all administrative tasks. The Administration Assistant will be required to deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers and stakeholders. They will be required to assist the Director and other staff within the Department to achieve the Departments’ strategic goals and day to day operational activities.
Classifications for this position will range from HS3 - HS25 ($74,448.40 - $82,305.60 per annum).
Your Contribution- Medical Terminology Course and/or previous experience in medical/hospital field
- Previous Health Industry Experience
- Knowledge of and competent use of Microsoft Applications
- Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About The Orthopaedic Department
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary, surgically focused management of patients with muscle, bone, and joint disease. The Department has long been considered as one of the leaders in academic Orthopaedic and Sarcoma Surgery in Australia. The Department of Orthopaedics is accredited by AOA as a training hospital. The Department is engaged in research of international recognition and is affiliated with the University of Melbourne.
