Your Role

  • As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will work with children and their families to support participation in daily life activities through individualized assessments and interventions. You will play a key role in helping children develop essential life skills across three core areas of focus:

Key Areas of Practice

  • Self-Care Skills: Help children build independence in daily routines such as toileting, dressing, feeding, and bathing.
  • Play & Leisure: Support development of meaningful play skills and engagement in activities that bring joy and social connection.
  • Educational Readiness & Participation: Enhance children's fine motor, gross motor, and cognitive skills required for success in childcare, kindergarten, and school environments.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Passion for working with children and their families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and development

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience working in a paediatric or private practice setting
  • Familiarity with NDIS or funding systems for children with disabilities
