About The Role:

• The purpose of the Enrolled Nurse is to ensure the clinical care of patients at The Mater is provided in a person-centered care manner, within the philosophy, mission and values of The Mater Sydney.
• Take a partnership approach to care provision by embedding person centered care principles in all aspects of work.
• Ensure all patient care delivered is done so within the scope of practice of the registered nurse and by adhering to policies and procedures of SVPHS and St Vincent’s health Australia (SVHA).
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge in the specific area of practice with a commitment to professional development and clinical teaching.
• Clinically manage one’s self, and others when required, to create a transformational leadership environment

About You:

• Current AHPRA Registration as an Enrolled Nurse without notation.
• Ability to maintain collaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members.
• Ability to work flexibly within the Facility service.
• Have a working knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations and legislation.
• Ability to contribute towards effective risk management within the facility particularly in compliance with Work Health & Safety legislation.

About The Mater:

In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital, North Sydney.

• One of Sydney’s premier private hospitals.
• Close by to train stations at North Sydney, St Leonards, and Crows Nest, and buses on Pacific Highway.
• The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
• Core specialties include Obstetrics, Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements, bone and sports injuries, cardiology, cancer care and surgery, lung and vascular medicine, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, endocrine surgery, and neurosurgery.
