Permanent Part Time position 64 Hours per fortnight
Based in Malvern or Mt Waverley with Flexible hybrid work options after training period.

How you will make an impact behind the scenes
Every team member plays a vital role in delivering outstanding patient care – including our Finance team. We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-focused Patient Accounts Administrator to join our experienced and supportive team.
In this role, you'll help ensure timely allocation of payments received for services provided at Cabrini. You will assist to follow up unpaid claims. Your work helps patients focus on what matters most: their health.

What your day will look like:

  • Process daily receipting and allocate payments accurately
  • Following up on unpaid accounts with patients, and other stakeholders
  • Assisting patients and their families with account-related queries (via phone and email)
  • Actioning accounts in credit, processing of refunds
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Supporting the wider team by learning additional roles to provide cover when needed
  • Maintaining strong connections between the Patient Accounts team and other departments
  • Ensuring every interaction reflects the high standard of care Cabrini is known for


About You:
You’re a people-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You’re also:

  • Experienced in accounts receivable, ideally within a private healthcare, medical, or health insurance setting
  • Experience with receipting and payment allocation
  • Confident with medical claiming processes and collections
  • Familiar with systems such as WebPas and Pracsoft
  • Meticulous when it comes to detail
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
