This is a 12-month, maximum-term full-time position (Monday – Friday), offering an excellent opportunity to further develop your administrative experience within a healthcare setting.
More specifically, you will:
- Provide efficient day-to-day administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Coordinate, schedule, and confirm patient appointments with accuracy and care
- Manage billing and receipting processes at the time of appointment
- Maintain accurate data entry across clinical and administrative systems
- Prepare, scan, file, and manage patient documentation in line with privacy standards
- Ensure patient records and administrative files are up to date and well maintained
- Contribute to effective clinic workflows through organised and proactive support
- Liaise with internal teams to support scheduling, documentation, and operational processes
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and patient-focused environment
We’re looking for someone who has:
- A strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience with patient billing systems (knowledge of Medicare is highly regarded)
- A professional, empathetic phone manner and confidence managing a high volume of enquiries
- High attention to detail with strong organisational capability
- A flexible, adaptable approach and the ability to thrive in a busy clinical setting
