GenesisCare is looking for a compassionate, motivated and organised Patient Services Officer (Medical Receptionist) to join our supportive team at our Malvern clinic.

In this role, you will play a vital part in each patient’s cancer care journey as their first point of contact. This is a fast‑paced, varied position where priorities can shift quickly, so your ability to remain calm, efficient and empathetic is essential.

On offer is a part‑time position working 3 days per week.

More specifically, you will:

  • Work efficiently in a fast‑paced administrative environment where patient experience is always the priority.
  • Act as the first point of contact, delivering exceptional customer service both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
  • Adapt to a dynamic setting with frequent changes and competing priorities.
  • Book and confirm patient appointments and consultations.
  • Process billing and receipting at the time of appointment.
  • Complete accurate data entry and manage required documentation.
  • Support the smooth daily running of the clinic.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider team to maintain effective workflows.
  • Manage patient records and ensure timely filing of notes.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A professional phone manner and the confidence to manage a high volume of enquiries.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time‑management skills.
