GenesisCare is seeking a Patient Services Officer (Medical Receptionist) to join our caring and supportive team at our Albury clinic. This is an opportunity to play a vital role in our patients’ cancer care journey, providing compassionate, professional service as their first point of contact.

This is a fast‑paced, patient‑facing role where no two days are the same. You’ll work across multiple workstations in an environment where priorities can change quickly, so your ability to stay organised, adaptable and empathetic is key.

On offer is a permanent part time role working 4 days a week.

More specifically, you will:

  • Being the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service face‑to‑face and over the phone.
  • Managing appointment bookings, confirmations and consultations.
  • Billing and receipting at the time of appointment.
  • Accurately processing patient information, data entry and paperwork.
  • Managing patient records and filing.
  • Supporting the efficient running of the clinic in a high‑volume environment.
  • Adapting to ongoing change and competing priorities.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider team to maintain efficient processes.


We're interesed in hearing people who have:

  • A strong customer service mindset and commitment to patient careExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence managing a high volume of phone and in‑person enquiries.
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A professional, empathetic and friendly approach.

Medical or healthcare experience is valued but not essential — transferable skills are welcomed.
