About the Role
As a Psychiatry Registrar, you will:
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and formulate management plans
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic mental illness
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams delivering high-quality patient care
  • Participate in inpatient, outpatient and community services
  • Complete Mental Health Act documentation and Tribunal requirements
  • Participate in an on-call roster
  • Supervise junior medical staff where appropriate
  • Utilise telehealth to support regional mental health care

Essential Requirements
Applicants should have:
  • Current or eligible AHPRA registration
  • Eligibility for RANZCP training
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to high-quality patient-centred care
