GenesisCare has exciting opportunities for Radiation Therapist Assistants to join our teams across our metro centres in Perth on a casual basis.

This role has been designed specifically for students, supporting your university studies while helping you build experience and invest in your future career.

You’ll work alongside experienced Radiation Therapists, see how the team operates, and gain a greater understanding of what day to day is going to look like.

Even if you’ve already completed clinical placements with us, this role gives you the opportunity to build on that experience. You’ll work as part of the team, engage more closely with patients, and gain a deeper insight into their treatment journey - all while growing your skills and expanding your professional network.

This is a casual Monday to Friday role, designed to fit around your studies while giving you regular experience across Perth. It is a great opportunity to invest in your career and prepare for your transition into the workforce.

More specifically, you will:

• Support Radiation Therapists with daily treatment activities and patient flow.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment.
• Assist with patient preparation and positioning (as trained).
• Observe and contribute to radiation therapy workflows.
• Support administrative tasks, data collection, and audits.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and patient-ready environment.
• Interact with clinical systems and contribute to patient-centred care.

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

• 4th year Radiation Therapy students (or equivalent).
• Progressing towards AHPRA registration.
• Are motivated to apply their learning in a clinical setting.
• Strong interest in patient care and oncology.
• Bring a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Communicate well and enjoy working in a team.
